Mobile Monday London July 14th: enabling location in applications

 In mobile monday

It’s been over a year since Mobile Monday visited the subject of Location and now is a great time to revisit with a raft of alternate approaches to LBS.

This month’s event is kindly sponsored by Skyhook Wireless and will be held on Monday the 14th of July at the usual venue of the CBI Conference Centre near Tottenham Court Road tube station.

Registration is as usual via the Yahoo Groups database and this will be open from Friday 4th July (make sure you get in quick as MoMo London ALWAYS sells out!)

As for the event – it should be a ripper.  My spies tell me that Skyhook have a big announcement about their location services in London (cell-ID API was one phrase mentioned…..) We will have to see what they have to say at the event.  See a recent related post on the topic of Cell-ID databases.

Keep an eye on the main www.mobilemonday.org.uk website for more details and I look forward to seeing you there.
