I received an email this morning from Mippin’s PR agency (does that mean I’m becoming a serious blogger…) to announce that Judy Gibbons has joined Mippin as CEO.
I rate Judy. She was on a panel I chaired at Being-Digital last month and I was impressed not only with her contribution to the panel, but also her understanding of the mobile space.
Given she’s been involved at refresh mobile as their non-exec chair, and also part of Accel – one of the VC’s involved with Mippin, it makes sense for her to take the CEO role. More on her appointment as well as their new iPhone optimised service on the mippin blog.
